A Cry for Help

Dear all, this blog is with reference to my show on animal helplines. I
think it is terrible that innocent animals and birds who have been forced
to live in our urbane environment, have to bear the brunt of it. Since
their living conditions are drastically altered, they are left helpless in
case of severe accidents and injuries. 

I received a lot of calls giving me the numbers of various helplines. I
also got calls saying that such helplines do not help all the time. I
empathize with them because here we have not come together to criticise
their shortcomings but rather help them improve their reach. Following are
the numbers I got from the municipal corporation and courtsey Jigeesha

2) Bird/animal species
3) What state do you think it is in (is it an emergency or is it a broken
body part)
